Computer & device repair for Niles, MI

If your computer has slowed to a crawl or your phone screen looks like a spiderweb, hold off on replacing it. For most Niles households a repair costs far less than buying new, and we'll be honest either way — if it truly isn't worth fixing, we'll say so rather than sell you work you don't need.

We take on the whole range of everyday tech: desktops and laptops, phones and tablets, plus the game consoles the kids can't go a day without. You'll hear what's actually wrong in plain, friendly terms, and you'll know the cost before we start, so the final bill never blindsides you.

With Niles just across the Michigan line, it's a short hop south into South Bend to drop something off. We charge a flat $60 to track down the problem and put that same $60 toward the repair. Stop in whenever it suits you, and count on most fixes being ready in a day or two.

Common questions

Questions from Niles folks

I'm up in Niles, MI — do you take customers from across the state line?

We sure do, and a good number of our regulars drive down from Niles. Being in Indiana changes nothing — it's only about 20 minutes south across the Michigan line to our South Bend shop, and we'll treat you like the neighbor you are.

Do I need an appointment, or can I just drive down and drop it off?

Just drive down — walk-ins are always welcome, no appointment needed, Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 5:30. If you'd like to give us a heads-up before the trip, a quick call to (574) 337-7557 works fine too.

Can you tell me the repair cost over the phone before I head down?

We won't, and that's on purpose — a price before we've opened it up would just be a guess, and that's not fair to you. Instead it's a flat $60 to fully diagnose and explain the problem in plain English, and that $60 comes off the repair if you go ahead. You'll always get a real number before any work starts.

My kid's game console won't load anymore — worth the drive from Niles?

Usually, yes. We fix consoles right alongside computers, laptops, phones, and tablets, and most repairs are back with you in a day or two. We'll diagnose it for the flat $60 and tell you honestly whether it's an easy fix or not worth saving. If it ever comes down to deep board-level work we don't yet do in-house, we'll be upfront about that too.

Whatever broke, we’ve probably seen it. Let’s take a look.

We don’t price repairs over the phone — we look first, so the number’s real. The $60 to look comes right off your repair, and walk-ins are always welcome. Look for the blue door with the stairs on the left side of the parking lot — knock if it’s locked, we’re here.
